SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

stm32f3 discovery firmware download prroblem

Hello Everyone!

I just encountered a problem while creating a new project for stm32f3 discovery board. When I tried to download the Standart Peripheral Library, it failed. The page that was checked for download did not exist.

I download the Perpheral zip file from st site manually.

From the forums post, I learnt that .zip file must be under “C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Ac6\SW4STM32\firmwares”

Moreover the name of the zip file must be “stm32f3discovery_fw.zip”. When I put the. zip file with this name, and try to create a new project again, system workbench finall find firmware and extract them

I want to write these because I could not find them on the forum. May be this post will save some time and patience of a beginner, just like me :-)

Hello,

Which version of SW4STM32 are you using ?

There has been a correction done in the latest version or the previous one so be sure to update the software: menu Help=>Check for update

Laurent
