Ac6, an STMicroelectronics partner, is pleased to announce Workbench for Zephyr, a free and open source Visual Studio Code extension for developing Zephyr RTOS applications on STM32.
Workbench for Zephyr brings the full Zephyr workflow into VS Code. It installs the native host tools, manages Zephyr SDK versions, creates and imports West workspaces, and generates board specific projects from the Zephyr samples. For STM32 it uses the ST-LINK GDB Server and OpenOCD from STM32CubeCLT, with J-Link and pyOCD also supported, and its Devicetree Manager offers a CubeMX style configuration view.
Workbench for Zephyr joins System Workbench for STM32 as a second environment supported by the OpenSTM32 community, extending our tools from bare metal STM32 to Zephyr based projects on boards such as the STM32F4 Discovery, STM32F746G-DISCO and STM32L562E-DK.
Install it from the Visual Studio Marketplace and read the documentation at z-workbench.com.
