missing 'Ac6 STM32 Debugging' Debug configuration in Debug perspective
Hi,
I use System Workbench for STM32 since forever, I have two laptops, an Intel celeron with Windows 7 o.s. and a Intel Centrino Duo with Lubuntu o.s.
Lubuntu box has a problem with System Workbench for STM32 installed as plug-in.
Lubuntu version:
giangiacomo@giangiacomo-HP-Pavilion-dv6000-RR374EA-ABZ:~$ uname -a
Linux giangiacomo-HP-Pavilion-dv6000-RR374EA-ABZ 4.15.0-43-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 6 14:45:28 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
eclipse version:
Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers
Version: Photon Release (4.8.0)
Build id: 20180619-1200
Properties for fr.ac6.feature.mcu.ide.feature.group
Name: OpenSTM32 IDE
Identifier: fr.ac6.feature.mcu.ide.feature.group
Version: 2.7.2.201812190825
Provider: Ac6
The problem is:
there isn’t any ‘Ac6 STM32 Debugging’ configuration available among ‘Create, manage, and run configurations’ so I cannot start debugging. There are a lot of other choices but I want to debug on target ST Discovery board.
Other problem:
there isn’t any any ‘Target’ command for ‘Erase chip...’ and ‘Program chip...’
I can create projects, and compile them just fine, it is just that I cannot run on target boards.
Is it a Java environment problem?
Windows box works like a charm so I’m not out of option, still I would like to have two boxes for Cortex-M developments.
I need some help.
Merry Xmas,
Giangiacomo
