STM32G431RB Stalls When Floating Point is Used

Hi all, I am getting started with AC6 and an STM32G431RB. Everything has worked out great so far except the floating point unit. When I try to do any floating point math at all, the processor won’t start, even if the floating point operation is at the very end of the code. Any thoughts?

I have ‘Floating point hardware’ set to ‘fpv4-sp-d16’, ‘Floating point ABI’ set to ‘hard’, and ‘Instruction set’ set to ‘Thumbs II’. I tried setting the ABI to soft and softfp, with no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated- thanks!
