SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

   With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

Status / Updates for SW4STM32

Have been working with SW4STM32 for years. It’s great! But it doesn’t work with the latest version of Eclipse. Further now that I’ve started working with the new STM32H745-disco, I find that SW4STM32 is not a recommended development platform. I hope that ST is not moving away from SW4STM32, but for the STM32H line, it appears that that may be true(?)

Here are my questions:
1. Are you planning to support the latest versions of eclipse? For me, the latest supported version (December 2019) is fine. But eventually, I will need to move forward to a later release of Eclipse as I use it for several different development targets.
2. Are you planning to support multi-core development? I was wondering if this will be available for the STM32H745IX (for example).

I did a brief search and didn’t see plans for updates, so apologies if I missed it. Also, I am asking these rather pointed questions because I want to continue development with SW4STM32. You have done a great job of building a system that works with ST processors.
