Endless java.io.IOException dialogs with Nucleo boards

with two windows open (via Window:New Window), and Nucleo boards (I’ve two different boards, both act the same), whenever it communicates with the Nucleo board, it creates about 8 popup windows that say java.io.IOException.

I can stop this if I right click the Nucleo board status at the bottom ( Device: COM4) and click stop.

I’ve tried reinstalling with the most current version of AC6, to no avail.

Driving me insane, any thoughts/advice appreciated

This seems to be some kind of bug in the Target Status Widget. Disabling the widget doesn’t seem to cause problems with debugging, so I’m going to leave it off.

Avoid the crazy if you can
