My problem is firmware download for stdperiph. Hal is ok.

No firmware has been defined for this target!

Than, I located manually, but has not been found.

I’m trying with three diffirent pc. Win7 , win10 OS. EclipseNeon ,Oxygen, Photon. I can’t solved.

please, help me. cry

Hello,

Most probably you’re getting this error message because target you’ve selected is not supporting StdPeriph library.
Please could you share your selected target (mcu or board reference) to confirm ?

As kind reminder StdPeriph libraries are legacy material. Such is no more supported anymore (means no update, no bug fix, ...). Definitively hal usage is recommended.
As legacy material such is not provided thinking most recent targets.

my device is Discovery kit with STM32F429ZIT6 MCU.

I could use this device with stsw-stm32138.zip std library.

But my pc returned to factory settings and I reinstalled java eclipse, systemworkbench. Now can’t find library define stsw-stm32138.zip for target STM32F429ZIT.İf find define for target, then i can manually extract this foldr C:\Users\rd03\AppData\Roaming\Ac6\SW4STM32\firmwares .

Hello,

Thanks for sharing but please double check your exact board reference.

Sounds STM32F429I-DISCO board was allowing stsw-stm32138.zip StdPeriph library usage. Such board has been set to obsolete status (STLinkV2 debug device). Means you can work on existing projects relying on such board but no more supported to create new project with.

Some new STM32F429I-DISC1 board reference has been promoted instead (STLinkV2.1 debug device). Such is allowing stm32f4_dsp_stdperiph_lib_v180.zip StdPeriph library usage. Selecting such board as target no issue to get firmware setup (see attached snapshot).

Such target references update has been introduced Thanks latest (2.5) SystemWorkBench for STM32 release.

Recommended “issue” solving would be to install previous release back (2.4)
