Installation of Linux 64 bit workbench

My system: Linux Ubuntu 14.04.5 on HP DV6T-7000
My device: STM32 IoT discovery kit fo STM32L475

Hi,

On the web page: http://www.openstm32.org/Downloading+the+System+Workbench+for+STM32+installerQuestion,
under the Linux installer section, there are no download buttons or prompts.

When I click on the link “install_sw4stm32_linux_64bits-v2.0.run”, a new browser tab opens, with a whole lot
of activity, and a status message saying: “Transferring data from www.ac6-tools.comQuestion”.

This continues for quite a while without any download result. I was concerned about all this activity of what
appears to be a script file running on my system, and closed the new tab mentioned above.

I’m thinking I did not follow the correct procedure in proceeding as above. Please clarify how to download
the Linux installer.

Right click and “save the link as” worked. It wasn’t intuitive or obvious though. I think a note in the instructions would be useful.

Hi Jkstm32 !

there is an issue to download the linux install.
You found a workaround but it’s not normal.

We’ll fix it ASAP, sorry
