Debugger does not work after update [SOLVED]

Hi Team,

I updated to the latest version right now (May 20th, 2017) and since then the debugger does not work anymore.

It loads the flash image allright, but when pressing “run”, it complains about ST-Link being in use by another application (which is not the case to my knowing) or USB driver not installed (which I cannot influence after having told the installer to do so).

During installation the installer complained about me not using the DPInst.exe 64-bit version.

I’m on Windows 10 Home 64 bit, most recent updates installed.

What’s the issue?

Hello Martin,

I cannot reproduce your issue.
Could you please give us the details of the error message?
And also could you describe more specifically your steps to get the error message?
When you say “run”, you mean the “resume” button during a debug session?

Hi,

was just about to post.

Reinstalled the USB driver from a fresh doanload from the STM site and now everything works ok.
Heaven knows, what was on.
