Importing project from STMCubeMxTool to System Workbench 4

Hello,

I am beggining to learn how to use both tools in order to develop programs for the microcontroller.
The problem that I am having is that whenever I try to import the generated code from the STMCubeMxTool to the SystemWorkbench 4, it takes too much time (more than 15-20 minutes).

I am running the tools over Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (and I am using Java 1.8 -if it is useful to know that fact-). I have for example a colleague who changed him to Linux Mint, and he has now speeded this importing process. However, I think that it should not be the solution.

The importing procedure takes properly too much in the “Import” window inmediately after I select the generated code. It takes too much in loading.

Hi,

There is a known bug of Eclipse on Ubuntu-16.04 and other recent Linux distributions; have you looked at this FAQ entryQuestion
