remote debug (over the network)

Hi,

since gdb is connecting to openocd.exe via sockets at localhost:3333, I wonder whether there is a way of connecting to openocd running on remote machine (as opposed to localhost) and debug remotely? i.e. openocd running on hostA with ST-link connected via usb and systemworkbench running on hostB and gdb communicating with oocd via net/lan. is there a way to accomplish this?

it’s doable by creating a new configuration under “GDB Hardware debugging” in Debug configurations and setting it properly. also you need to start epenocd on remote machine manually.
