System Workbench for STM32

Cannot seem to get debugging working

Hi there!

I’m just a beginner with the OpenSTM32 and I need a bit of help.
I have a ST-Link V2 (updated to latest firmware) and a board with a STM32F103C8TX.

I have managed to get the LED on pin PC13 blinking but I cannot get to send messages to the debugger.
After I hit debug, I pressed “skip all breakpoints” and “resume”, I see the LED blinking but I do not receive any messages in the console (openocd).

I also tried the ST LINK UTILITY and opened “Serial Wire Viewer” but cannot see anything there.

Here is my main :

while(1){
HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_13);
HAL_Delay(100);
printf(“Hello”);
}

Should I not use printf?
