    Well, I finally get the installer to run and install the SW by directly opening the .jar file inside the .app file.
    But, I still can't used the installed software, as it says that "version 1.6xxx of the JVM is not suitable for this application. Please download 1.7 or newer version". However, I already verified my Java version on Oracle and it says I already have Java 8 build 111 installed.

    Any ideas?
