System Workbench for STM32

Compile C++ files

Hey all,
I am using an STMF4 Discovery board. I generated a template project using the STM32Cube utility and got it to work with SystemWorkbench just fine (build, run, debug..). I am using Windows 7 64-bit.

I imported some new files into the project.. They are all C++ files (so my project is now a mix of C and CPP files). However, the workspace builder does not “see” the C++ files. The intermediate makefiles have a C_DEPS variable, that does *not* have the CPP files. They are effectively not built.

How do I go about making SystemWorkbench see these C++ files and compile them?

Thanks,
Jitesh

You have to convert the project in a C++ project. Try to right click the project in the Project Explorer view in order to open the contextual menu and execute the Convert to C++ command.
Now in the Project Properties > C/C++ Build > Settings you should have a new section for the C++ option.

Regards,
Stefano
