SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

Unable to enter debug mode after eclipse update

Hi,

everything worked fine before I updated my IDE. Now, every time I try to enter a debugger session (using the stlink V2) the attached error occurs. Unfortunately, I have no clue about the caused of the problem. Right now I am running eclipse 2020-03 at macOS 10.15.3. I reinstalled eclipse, switched the workspace. Always resulting in the same behavior: I can compile the code and even upload and execute the a release using the same stlink V2. Everything works except entering a debugger session, which is essential for my workflow.

Cheers,
Juergen

Update: I had to install the previous eclipse version (2019-12) to get things working again. Is there a known incompatibility regarding 2020-03 that I missed?

Regards,
Juergen
