SW4STM32 installation issue with Ubuntu 16.04

hello,
i installed sw4stm32 according to youtube video -> https://youtu.be/kOvkFgpfI8QQuestion, gksu was already installed, becides that, everything went step by step. once it came to launching eclipse, it wont start, no message, no error, no nothing, for couple seconds mouse cursor stays “loading”, and nothing.
ubuntu 16.04, 64 bit, sw4stm32 v2.7.
help needed(i am definetlly not a power user).

oh... Are you sure about taking the good install file ?
you need the 64 bits one
another idea ...you have to launch the eclipse executable not the eclipsec one ..

I downloaded it yesterday install_sw4stm32_linux_64bits-v2.7.run Checked about eclipse, in some forums they say to edit eclipse.ini file,
--launcher.GTK_version
2
but my installation has eclipse.bin.ini and those lines are what said to be edited to
and the eclipse file it self is a shell script not a run file. found some other configuration editing. any ideas how can i determine the issue so i could solve it?
