Ethercat netX Expansion Board
Hello,
first I want to say that I am a beginner in STM32 and does not have that much knowledge about programming.
I am a student and I’m on my first project for a company. They want to integrate EtherCAT into their machines and i should get acquainted with EtherCAT and STM32.
They bought the Nucleo-H743ZI and the nShield 52-RE netX Expansion Set from Hilscher. There is a Project Example on the STM website, but it’s only for the F7XX and not the H7XX Nucleo Board. I did some changes and get it worked on the H7, but it hang up in “initCifXToolkit()” saying HAL_SPI_STATE_BUSY_TX_RX (also if the nShield isn’t mounted).
Someone get sucessfully running the expansion set on the H743ZI or can help me doing this?
It would be also helpful, if someone who run the Example working on other Boards could explain how the Application and the UserInterface is working and what it does (maybe upload a Video?).
I don’t know much about EtherCAT, im using Sycon to configurate the nShield Expansion Board (and the CifX 50 Master).
