And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

I tried ... but not reproduced your issue :-|
Can you give me the version you use for :
- cubeMX
- SystemWorkbench ?
the way you generate the project with CubeMX ?
the way you import the project under SystemWorkbench ?
