   With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world.

I finally agree with you.
I was tricked by the disassembly listing which decodes the offset in the BL instruction to display an absolute address.
You are right, the BL instruction makes relative branch.

=> this code is PIC compliant !
