SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

Custom board management - how to reuse

France

Hello jandyman,

Please could you share System Workbench for STM32 release you are using. Which OS are you relying on ?

If using latest release definitvely custom boards are shared. Repository is C:\Users-user name-\AppData\Roaming\Ac6\SW4STM32\board_def.

Selecting target creating new project please takes care promoted available boards (custom included) are filtered by STM32 MCU family. If you custom board is relying on some F4 MCU such will only be visible within combolist if selecting family filter in sync.

Feel free to share back if such is helpful or still issue remaining.
