SW4STM32 v2.0 Install Fails - 'wmic' not found

Latest Windows 7 64 bit installer Version v2.0, updated on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 18:01:54 CEST):

The ST-Link driver installation fails with “‘wmic’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file”:

The fix is, presumbaly, as described here: https://kb.informatica.com/solution/23/Pages/4/156865.aspxQuestion

Would have been nice if the installer had checked before starting - instead of getting most of the way through, then crashing.

Do I now have to uninstall & start over, or can I simply restart the installer and it will carry on from where it left off...?

Hi awneil,

This is an identified defect on STLink driver installer, a new version will be published on ST.com during next week.
On System Workbench side it will be part of version 2.1.

The fix you mentioned works, you can simply restart the installer and select the same installation location.
SW files will be overridden at first and STLink driver will be called again with expected ‘wmic’ in the environment.
