The problem with adding a new library to the project

I downloaded the project from the githab (stm32f4 and hd44780). I’m compiling the project in sw4stm32, everything is fine.
I create a new project in the cube (stm32f1), open it in sw4stm32 and add the library file “LiquidCrystal_I2C.h” and “LiquidCrystal_I2C.c”, but when building the project, the error “undefined reference to` LiquidCrystal_I2C_Init ”
What is the problem?
