SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

How to modify "custom board configuration"?

I created a custom board configuration for the LC Studio STM32 MINNI board (see photo). It mostly works but the debug configuration file needs a tweak in the “reset_config” line:

(at end of STM32-MINNI.cfg file)

  1. use hardware reset, connect under reset
  2. reset_config srst_only srst_nogate

reset_config none

This is because I’m programming the board using the ST-Link_V2 on the F072-DISCO board, using only 4 wires, which does not extend the hard reset line to the target. It works fine once the configuration file has been modified.

Now I can create a new project based on this board but I have to tweak the configuration file every time.

How can I edit this custom board configuration? I’ve searched my computer but this file does not seem to exist outside of the created projects’ folders.

Thanks for your help.
