Using SAI in slave mode

Hi,
What are the main differences between SAI slave asynchronous and slave synchronous?
What’s the aim of SAI slave synchronous?
In slave mode, shoud we use SAIxExtCLK?

This document : STM32L4_Peripheral_SAI.pdfQuestion don’t talk about theses functions.
Thanks!

Sorry,
I’ve found my answers into chapter “39.3.2 Main SAI modes” or reference manual.
