SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

Changing Value of the Peripherial Registers in Debug Mode

Hi Friends :-) ,

I would have a question - how it is possible to change manually the value of the register in order for example blink LED on the STM32F4 Discovery Board?

I’m regarding to the case when we are in Debug Perspective of course.

France

Hi,

You just have to click on the value you want to change, type th enew value than type RETURN and voilà biggrin

Currently the CPU should be stopped on a breakpoint for this to work.

Wow - it works biggrin

Thank You very much!

BTW: are You (Ac6) at Embedded World 2016?

France

Yes, I’ll be present, at least occasionnaly, on ST’s Booth where I will present System Workbench for STM32 each day in the afternoon...
