Wrong Template for Nucleo-F446ZE

Hello,

when I try to create a project for the Nucleo-F446ZE board based of the template in the current version of System Workstation 4, it uses the Nucleo-64 template instead of the Nucleo-144. I really use the most current version available via the “Check for Updates” menu entry. How do I fix that?

This is also the case for the Nucleo-F429ZI. The Nucleo-F303ZE already uses the correct BSP files.

Hello Masterkraft0r,

Thank you for this feedback. Indeed, this is a bug that we will provide a fix in the next release.

If you want to fix it by yourself, you should edit the file :

\plugins\fr.ac6.mcu.firmware_1.6.0.201512071631\resources\stm32_firmwares\nucleof446ze_hal.xml

Then, replace STM32F4xx-Nucleo with STM32F4xx_Nucleo_144 and you should get the nucleo 144 BSP package.

Same with nucleof429zi_hal.xml.

Best regards,

Pascale

thanks a lot.

you should maybe check the nucleo-f746 template too. i didn’t check if it uses the correct bsp files.

many thanks
