SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

workbench 1.6 installer available?

when will it be the workbench 1.6 installer available?
I know we can upgrade through the menu, but for we need the installable for our workflow
thanks a lot
David

Hello Davids,

As there are only changes in the plugins and not in the rest of the installer,we have not planned to release a specific installer for v1.6.

Why would you like to reinstall everything when you can just update the plugins that were changed ?

Best Regards,

Pascale

The problem is that, to download updates and plug-ins we need to deal with Java/Eclipse proxy configurations specific configurations in each user machine. This is quite time consuming since we do not have specific IT support for this. It it easier to download the entire installable and then make it available through our company intranet.
We found a work-around consisting on zipping and extracting an entire c:\Ac6 folder from a golden installation into all the user PCs, so the request is not so urgent now.
thanks
