System Workbench for STM32

how do I build yhe demonstration sample for discovery board

Looking for some pointers on how to build the supplied demostration samples.
I am curently using stm32f0 discovery board and the provided
STM32F0-Discovery_FW_V1.0.0/Project/Demonstration

How do I build this under System Workbench.

What do I miss?

Mat

Hi Mat,

In the old ST firmwares, the example project for System Workbench are not provided. You have to manually create a project then import the source files.

Create a new C Project with Ac6 STM32 MCU GCC Toolchain, select your board then choose “Standard Peripheral Library” (download it if needed) and select “Add low level drivers” as sources.

Copy the source and header files from STM32F0-Discovery_FW_V1.0.0/Project/Demonstration into the src and inc folder of your newly created project.
The build should be done without error.

Regards,
Kevin

thanlks for the info. That worked perfectly. I did as yoiu sad. Copied over the following files from the demo project:

inc:
main.h stm32f0xx_conf.h stm32f0xx_it.h

src:
main.c stm32f0xx_it.c syscalls.c system_stm32f0xx.c

now it builds and runs successfully on the stm32 f0 discovery hardware
