SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

Hi,

How did you try to install System Workbench for STM32? The best way is to download the installer from the web site. The error you menstion seems to say that you had network connectivity problems during the installation in an existing Eclipse platform; I just checked and the URL listed above work flawlessly.

I followed this procedure trying to install from the latest version of Eclipse 2019-12 (4.14.0):

There is no network connectivity issue. I have tried more than a dozen times, but it always stops after Intalling Software at 48%. Could be a bug with the latest version. But the Eclipse installer doesn’t allow us to choose an older version of System Workbench for STM32.
