SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

Can't install firmware on Mac OS Mojave

Helo,

I’ve got a problem.

I installed this plugin for Eclipse: http://ac6-tools.com/Eclipse-updates/org.openstm32.system-workbench.update-site-v2Question

Now, everything works fine in Windows.

But when I try to create a project on Mac OS Mojave, then I’ve got a problem. I’m choosing “Hardware Abstraction Layer (Cube HAL)” and then “Download target firmware”. But nothing happens.

I don’t have an idea how I can achieve to create a new project.

Can someone help me?

The board is an STM32L053 Nucleo with STM32L053R8T6 Chip.

Thank you.

Hi Ubik,

Can you try to test your connection ?
Clcik on “Firmware installation” (blue link in your picture), and let me know.
Maybe you have to configure your proxy settings, if yes, try to do it under Windows>Preferecences=>General>network settings

Christelle

can you send me the board or mcu name used to create your project?
witch version of SW4STM32 used ?
i’ll try...

I’m not able to reproduce with an L0.
Try to compile it even if we have this unresolved include (but without your code in main), maybe it not resolved by eclipse only

No, rebuilding doesn’t work.

  1. include “stm32l0xx_nucleo.h”

This file couldn’t be found. That’s the reason.

The firmware ‘STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.11.0’ is used.

this file should be under the folder Utilities, do you have this folder ?
I tried under win10 and it was ok.
a colleague has tried under mac with success too

can you retry to create from scratch ?

Hi guys! I’m having the same issues! Please help!!

On MacOS Mojave I’m trying to download target firmware, but clicking on the button only displays a popup and clicking on it won’t start downloading anything :-(

I tried testing the connection but it doesn’t connect as well apparently. I don’t have any proxies nor nothing, just normal connection. I was able to download OpenSTM32 from Eclipse with no problems as well.

I saw someone else on the forum with the same problems some years ago.

My board is A ST NUCLEO L476RG

Thank you!
