Any tutorials for OpenSTM32?

Anyone know of a good tutorial to programming and flashing to an STM32F469 Discovery board (with LCD touchscreen)? There doesn’t seem to be anything on this site approaching this that I can find, and most guides use the commercial toolchains. I’ve only used AtMel Studio before now, with a hardware programmer, for which there are plenty of guides. So far even “empty” projects seem to fail, and the IDE cannot see the board to upload firmware (the board is listed in device manager in Windows 10).
