How to create a new project with STM32F407G-DISC1 in Ac6 v2.0?

Hello,

I want to create a new project in the latest version of Ac6 (v2.0) but STM32F407G-DISC1 development board is missing. I tried with the 64bits and 32bits versions but the problem persists.

The same happens with STM32CubeMX v4.21 where STM32F407G-DISC1 is missing and STM32F4DISCOVERY is duplicated.

I once solved this by selecting the STM32F4DISCOVERY board and changing the debug configurations manually, but that option does not appear now.

Any idea how can I solve this?

I have attached a screenshot of all this situations.

Info:
- OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 64bits Anniversary Update (1607) Español España
- SW4STM32 version: v2.0
- CubeMX version: v4.21
- Board: STM32F407G-DISC1

Hi Ezequiel,

The board STM32F407G-DISC1 is obsolete and was renammed STM32F4DISCOVERY.
Try to use STM32F4DISCOVERY instead of without change your debug configuration.

Hi Christelle,

I’m afraid that actually STM32F407G-DISC1 is the new version of STM32F4DISCOVERY. It has a ST-Link/V2-A interface instead of ST-Link/V2.

I don’t know how but the error disappeared. I created a new project by selecting the STM32F4DISCOVERY and now I can debug it without problems for the STM32F407G-DISC1. It seems to be configured automatically.
