How to use a static library?
Hello!
I would like to add a library to my program. I’m using a board with a F769 chip.
The library I would like to use is libPDMFilter_CM7F_GCC.
I have added it into Properties -> C/C++ build -> Settings -> MCU GCC linker
-> Libraries.
As another post was asking almost the same thing last year, I made the config
accordingly. (no .a, make sure that the library name begins with lib, which is the
case).
I have copied the library into the application Src folder and also the .h.
The reason I put the h file in the Src and not in Inc is that it works in Src but not in Inc,
although the code generated by MX and present in Inc seems to be detected.
Result: the compilation always ends as follows:
/Applications/Ac6/SystemWorkbench.app/Contents/Eclipse/plugins/fr.ac6.mcu.externaltools.arm-none.macos64_1.13.1.201703061524/tools/compiler/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/5.4.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: cannot find -llibPDMFilter_CM7F_GCC
I have also tried to add the .a, just in case the recent versions would expect it. Not better.
Any idea?
Thanks
Dora.
