MCU Settings Floating Point Hardware dropdown only showing "No Unit"

Hi, I’ve just installed System Workbench (using installer 64bit V1.14.0) and have imported a new CubeMX project, using the STM32F334K4Tx MCU.

Under the MCU Settings->Floating Point Hardware dropdown there is not the usual list of FPU types (fpv4-sp-d16 etc) - only one item in the dropdown box (“No Unit”).

Using an earlier version of SWB (installer V1.8) all options were available.

I’m using Windows 10.

Any ideas?

Hi, I’m having the same problem with a pretty similar MCU (STM32F303K8Tx).
I did not use CubeMX though.

I tried to add the -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 flag to the compiler settings but without any success.

Using the eclipse plugin version 1.14.0 (eclipse Neon.3) on a linux machine.

I would also be interested in a solution.

Hello Sashamarks,

Thanks for you feedback. This is a regression that will be fixed in the next SW4STM32 version.

A simple workaround is to add the “-mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16” option both to compiler miscellaneous flags and linker miscellaneous flags.

And Flaoting-point ABI to “Hard” in the MCU Settings.
