SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

System Workbench for STM3 : CooCox : Side by Side Installation : Safe ?

Hi

I’m using CooCox and it has many good features, but I’d like to try out System Workbench for STM32.

Before I go ahead and install System Woirkbench for STM32, I must make sure that installing System Workbench for STM32 will not somehow “damage” my working CooCox installation.

Could I have some advice on this topic please ?

Very many thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,
I installed both ide and the CooCox V 1.7.8 is still fully working.
But I can’t compile any project on SystemWorkbench.
Cheers, Gianni

Hi Gianni,

What are the problems you have with compiling under System Workbench for STM32?

Regards,

Bernard

Hi Bernard,
thanks for your attention. My mistake, bad path setting.
Thanks again
Gianni

Thanki you Gianni, that’s a relief to know !
