SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.
You can get more information from the ac6-tools website and download (registration required) various documents highlighting:

java.lang.NullPointerException error

When double clicking “Ac6 STM32 Debugging” in “Debug Configuration” window causes java.lang.NullPointerException error.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

Can you update the IDE (Help > Check for Updates) then relaunch the Debug configuration.
If the problem persists or if you are already using the latest version available, please tell me how did you create your project (from System Workbench or from CubeMX (which version), which MCU).

Hope the update solve your issue.
Kevin.

Hello Kevin,

Help->Check for Updates didn’t do good, but thanks for your help.

From google seach I found “org.eclipse.jface stack 0” was quite common problem for long years.
I tried many of their suggestions, but nothing helped so far.
I found exact same problem of mine mentioned in the comment in the link below.
http://askubuntu.com/questions/222338/ubuntu-12-04-eclipse-64-bits-key-binding-errorQuestion
Some say use Eclipse clean build, not the update one.
Some say some component in Eclipse is new version but some is old version causing the problem.

The SDK is WICED-SDK from broadcom, and I imported Makefile project with exsiting project option.
Broadcom has own WICED eclipse IDE which runs well without null exception.
But it has some limitation with debbuging on STM32, I like to use AC6 IDE instead.

Thanks.
