SW4STM32 and SW4Linux fully supports the STM32MP1 asymmetric multicore Cortex/A7+M4 MPUs

   With System Workbench for Linux, Embedded Linux on the STM32MP1 family of MPUs from ST was never as simple to build and maintain, even for newcomers in the Linux world. And, if you install System Workbench for Linux in System Workbench for STM32 you can seamlessly develop and debug asymmetric applications running partly on Linux, partly on the Cortex-M4.

STM32CubeMX 5.0

CubeMX 5.0, (under Eclipse), hangs under the following scenario:

Make a change in CubeMX window, in my case select one pulse timer mode, (see attached screenshot).
Do something else until the Project not saved dialogue box appears, in my case I browsed the internet.
Click on Yes to save and the application hangs.

File/Save from the menu works ok.

Thumbs down for CubeMX 5.0 The GUI is chaotic. It looks like a mobile application. A lot of clicks are needed to open all categories on the left side. The middleware section in the middle does not fit so scrolling is needed. I do not see what the improvement is but if you want to use the latest drivers i guess you need to live with it.

I second that, this version 5.0 is even on a full hd screen very difficult to use. Just try the configure DMA settings to see what I mean.
A lot of space is wasted. Even though the old 4.x version might have looked a little bit outdated, at least the layout used the space wisely and showed you all you had to see without scrolling in dialogs.
